Body Rules, Consent and Growing up

This workshop is designed to help parents feel more confident talking with their children about body safety, personal boundaries, and consent in an age-appropriate way.

Over two weeks, we will explore how to give children the knowledge and tools they need to stay safe, respect others, and build healthy relationships.

What this workshop covers:

  • Body Rules – including PANTS
Learn how to use the simple PANTS rule to teach children about body safety, private parts, and their right to say no.

  • Healthy Relationships
Understand what makes a relationship safe and positive, and how to help children recognise respect, kindness, and trust.

  • Circles of Privacy
Explore how to explain privacy to children using the “circles of privacy,” helping them understand what to share, with who, and why.

  • Consent
Discover practical ways to teach children about consent, boundaries, and listening to others, starting from everyday situations.

  • Personal Space
Support children in understanding their own personal space and respecting the personal space of others.

  • Growing Up
Learn how to talk to children about the changes they experience as they grow, in an age-appropriate and supportive way.
