Specialist support, workshops and events for parents & carers

The Family Support Service offers a wide range of workshops, events, and activities specifically designed to support parents and caregivers following a disclosure of child sexual abuse.

These online and in person sessions aim to reduce feelings of isolation, promote emotional wellbeing, and provide practical learning-based support. Through a combination of peer connection, expert guidance, and nurturing spaces, the service empowers families to rebuild confidence, gain a deeper understanding of trauma, and develop strategies for healing, both for themselves and their children.

Whether through group discussions, creative activities, or focused learning sessions, families are supported every step of the way in a compassionate and non-judgemental environment.

"Once we have your referral into the Family Support Service, a member of our team will arrange to give you a call.

During this call, we’ll talk through your needs and interests to help you find the workshops or events that the best suit you."
